On 28 October 2025, Ms. Patcharapimol Youngprapakorn, Honorary Consul of  the Republic of Côte d'lvoire in Thailand, led Ms. Olivia Yacé, Miss Universe Côte d'lvoire 2025, to pay a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Jukr Boon-Long, Political Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. The call took place during Ms. Yacé’s visit to Thailand to participate in Miss Universe 2025 pageant, hosted by Thailand with the final round to be held on 21 November 2025. Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Director-General of the Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs, also attended the meeting.

                Ms. Olivia Yacé introduced herself as a Tourism Ambassador and a contestant for Miss Universe 2025 from the Republic of Côte d'lvoire, and expressed her heartfelt condolences over the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother of Thailand on this occasion.

                The Political Advisor conveyed his appreciation to Ms. Yacé for her condolences and emphasized the importance of people-to-people connection, which serves to promote understanding between Thailand and Côte d'lvoire. He also highlighted the role of Ms. Yacé as a Tourism Ambassador, which can actively contribute to enhanced relations between the two countries. In addition, both sides exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation between Thailand and Côte d'lvoire, particularly in tourism, public health and development cooperation.

                After the call, Ms. Yacé also signed the book of condolences over the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at the Ministry.
