On 20 November 2025, H.E. Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Director-General, Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs, received a courtesy call by H.E. Mr. Abdulrahman Abdulaziz Alsuhaibani, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Thailand.  Both sides expressed satisfaction with the dynamic relations between Thailand and Saudi Arabia and exchanged views on plans for joint activities to celebrate the 70^th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2027.  They also discussed ways and means to further enhance bilateral cooperation on several issues, including exchange of visits, preparation for the Second Meeting of Saudi-Thai Coordination Council (STCC) and tourism.
