On 25 October 2024, Ms. Sasirit Tankulrat, Director-General, Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs, together with executives and officers of the Department, had a meeting with Dr. Visit Limlurcha, Vice Chairman, Thai Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Committee of South Asia, Middle East and Africa and Committee Members, to discuss ways to promote trade cooperation between Thailand and countries in South Asia, Middle East and Africa.

On the occasion, the Committees shared their direct experiences, obstacles and useful information on trade with the region and the Director-General welcomed advice on how to promote future trade.
