On 9 December 2025, H.E. Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Director-General of the Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs, received a courtesy call by H.E. Mrs. Hala Youssef Ahmed Ragab, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Thailand. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the dynamic relations between Thailand and Egypt, and discussed ways and means to further enhance bilateral cooperation on several issues, including exchange of visits, preparation for the Third Joint Commission Meeting. They also exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
