On 29 September 2025, Ms. Sasirit Tangulrat, Director-General, Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs, presided over the opening ceremony of Career Connect 2025 at Al-Meroz Bangkok Hotel.  Held for the second consecutive year, this event serves as a platform to connect Thai entrepreneurs seeking personnel with knowledge and expertise in Arabic language and culture with Thai graduates from universities in the Middle East.  The activity also aimed to promote employment opportunities while fostering business cooperation between Thailand and Middle Eastern countries.

            This years’s event attracted over 30 entrepreneurs and nearly 300 students — a significant increase from the first Career Connect held in 2024. This reflects the growing demand for human resources with Arabic language proficiency among Thai private sectors to enhance their access to Middle East markets.
