On 30 March 2023, Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarak Dhirathiti, Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communications, Mahidol University met with H.E. Mr. Worawoot Pongprapapant, Director-General of the Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs. Both sides discussed opportunities and ways to promote educational cooperation and medical research and development between Thailandand the Middle Eastern and South Asian countries.  H.E. the Director-General of the Department of South Asian Affairs expressed his readiness to support and collaborate with Mahidol University to exchange best pratices and promote a closer cooperation between Thailand and countries in the Middle East and South Asia.
