On 18 April 2024, H.E. Mr. Nassereddin Heidari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand, paid a courtesy call on H.E.Mr. Worawoot Pongphapapant, Director-General of the Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs, on the occasion of his assumption of duty.

On this occasion, the Director-General congratulated the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand on his assumption of duty. Both sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in all aspects, including trade and investment, exchange of high-level visits, and consular cooperation.
