On 15 September 2023, H.E. Mr. Seyed Reza Nobakhti, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand, had a meeting with H.E. Mr. Worawoot Pongprapapant, Director-General of the Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to discuss ways and means to strengthen bilateral and multilateral relations between the two countries, particularly the encouragement of high-level visits, trade and investment assistance, as well as, regional cooperation.
