Ambassador of the Republic of Gabon to Thailand Pays a Courtesy Call on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs

On 22 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Landry Mboumba, Ambassador of the Republic of Gabon to the Kingdom of Thailand, with residence in Seoul paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of the Ambassador’s visit to Thailand to present his credentials to His Majesty the King of Thailand on 21 September 2026.
Both sides underscored their commitment to promoting cooperation across various areas, including economic cooperation, particularly trade and investment, development cooperation, agriculture and fisheries, as well as the exchange of knowledge and best practices in agricultural production and processing. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasised the importance of advancing Thailand-Africa Initiative (TAI) towards tangible outcomes and reaffirmed Thailand’s readiness to work closely with Gabon as a partner for shared growth and development.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the Republic of Gabon.
